Electronic Notarization
Electronic notarization means that a document in electronic form is signed with an electronic digital signature, notarized electronically, then filed or sent electronically to its destination.
Electronic notarization does not mean remote notarization. The signer of the electronic document must still appear in the physical presence of the notary public in order to present proper identification and affirm or acknowledge the document to be notarized.
I have been approved by the Colorado Secretary of State to act as an electronic notary (e-Notary). The fee for an electronic notarization is $10, plus the reasonable travel fee. Please contact me with any questions or to schedule an appointment.
